My Review
I loved this book. Right from the beginning it pulled me in. I admit, Shep's charm had me pulled under his sweet seductive spell. I don't see how Jade stood a chance! The thing I loved the most about this book is that there was NO angst. Now don't get me wrong, I like angsty books just as much as the next person, but I LOVED that this book did not have any unnecessary drama. I almost expected something horrible to happen. That isn't to say that things went smoothly or perfect,but everything was justified.
Anyways- Jade is a spitfire. A firecracker. No, I am not making jokes about her being a hot tempered red head, though she is, but girl seriously doesn't take any shit. I really liked that about her. But even more I loved her and Shep's interactions.
Shep is your typical rich kid. He's gorgeous, a manwhore, and arrogant. But what drew me to him the most is that underneath it all he's just a normal guy. I really did love him! He grows so much through the course of this book!
I don't want to say much about this book because there is just so much that I loved! I cannot wait to read more in this series! I think this new series is going to be a hit. This first one was fantastic and I loved the story line! The beginning is great and I love how Shep wins her in a bet!
