Release Day Blitz: Dust to Dust by Karina Halle

The dramatic conclusion to the Experiment in Terror Series.

Perry Palomino and Dex Foray.

On their own, they’re uniquely brilliant. Together, they’re an unstoppable team.

Until now.

Because after everything the duo has encountered, they haven’t come across an evil quite like this. An evil that has been years in the making, an evil that will stop at nothing until they, and everyone they care for, are destroyed.

Dex and Perry’s love has survived a multitude of sins.

But can it survive the end?

My Review
I have to say I am so sad to see Dex and Perry go. This is a series I never would have dreamed of loving but I do. You see the scary shit type of books had not really been my thing. Not to the terrifying places Karina takes us in this series at least. But I trusted in her writing and her ability to grab my attention with everything she puts out there. I am so happy I started this series though and I was pulled into Perry and Dex's world. Once I was there I couldn't stop reading to see what they would get into next and where it would take them.

These two characters have grown so much throughout this series and it shows in this final installment. If you think all the stuff they have went through before was scary you haven't seen anything yet. I was so wrapped up in this book, wanting to know what would happen next, that I finished it hours after starting. I'm pretty sure reading it close to dark wasn't very smart though!

Dex and Perry have been through so much but nothing has been as bad as the unexpected evil that comes at them now. Unexpected and too close to home. The shit they go through is enough to make anyone run screaming and never looking back. But these two keep it together and through to the end they are what keeps the other strong. Their love never fails.

"I love you absolutely, resolutely. There is no question, no doubt. This love just is. It exists and because it exists, I exist."

I won't say much because I don't want to ruin anything. But they are put through hell in this one. But in it's own terrifying way this book is an utterly perfect conclusion to this series.

His lips revitalized me. His touch kept me whole, kept me together.
