My Review

So here's the thing... This is probably my favorite CoHo book. Point blank. The End.

I always know going into a CoHo book that it's going to be good. That, on some level it's going to touch a part of my heart and soul and I be damned if this book didn't just reach in an steal it all. The thing is, the part of this book that gutted me the most, the part that had me in tears, I can't even mention. But Colleen let me just say that your words slayed me, absolutely left me devastated. This was a personal reaction for me and others may see it differently but this book just spoke to me.

This whole book concept that Ben comes up with was just phenomenal. Ben and Fallon meet and instantly they notice there is something different that they both feel. An instant connection, which is crazy, but happens. It really works with these two! Have you ever met someone and just already want to spend more time with them just to get to know them? That's what happens with Ben and Fallon, they meet and just have to spend more time with each other but Fallon is leaving that night. So they decide to spend the whole day together. And I LOVED their first day together.

I have to admit, at first I was worried about how things would work after they agree to meet on the same day every year. I thought there was no way she could make that work without giving us more, but I was so wrong. You see the story isn't really what happened between them when they weren't together, but what happens and who they are when they are together.

I loved that Ben was a writer and I loved the banter between the Fallon and Ben about books and book boyfriends. I just really loved every aspect of this book.

I loved every meeting between them and that includes the ones that hurt and the ones that completely shocked me.

I have to say that Colleen has been holding out on us because this book has some steam!!! I could go on and on about this book but I really don't want to spoil it!

This book contains the humor that I've come to expect from Colleen Hoover, but it also had twists that I didn't see coming and without a doubt will be one of my favorite reads of the year. More than 5 stars!
