My Review
I have to say I really enjoy this side of Jamie's writing. It still has that certain way about it that draws you in and let's the story consume you. This story is so different than what I had expected, but in a good way.
Rory doesn't trust anyone and she has good reason. There is so much that goes on in this story and I don't want to give anything away. I have to say I loved Benji from the beginning! I rooted for him continuously! But this story is way more than a love story. Yes, there is some romance but it to me is not the main focus of the book. I had started to guess some of the twists early on but once everything was explained it was still like Whoa!
This is fast paced and action packed, speckled with romance. I feel like it should be divided into two parts though. Before Cy is abducted and then after. A lot happens in both parts. I like this side of Jamie McGuire and hope to read more like this from her in the future!
